Function
Dental amalgam used as a restorative
material.
The international standard 24234 describes test methods for amalgam
alloys.
This test analyze the creep, the change in length during curing.
The test contains 3 test stations
. The sample is heated by a metal block at 37° C and kept
at this temperature during the test. The pressure of 36 MPa is applied by a load lever
structure. 3 sensors measure the change in length .
The test runs fully automatic and calculated the creep in %.
The result is shown in the display. The temperature and measurement times can be adjusted..
The automation of the test sequence and the functional structure of the software allows an easy operation. Thees reduce the user impact and improve the reproducibility of the results.
Due to compact construction this test stand is ideal for laboratory use .
NOTE: The sample can be manufactured with a Amalgam
