Function

The tester consists of a traction device, the clamping device of the toothbrush and the force transducer with clamping of filaments.
The test is started manually by pressing the button. By pressing the button for the feed > 3 s is switched to the automatic feed. This will stop by pressing a button or by reaching the end position. The travel (max. 150 mm), and the feed rate (between 10 and 100 mm/min) can be adjusted continuously. The travel can be limited. An overdrive allows the rapid retraction to the starting position.

Precise linear guide used in combination with a maintenance-free controllable motor provide smooth power even under heavy load.
The force gauge enables sampling up to 1 kHz, which allows a high reproducibility of the results.
The holder of the brush and the clamp Filamenete comply with the standard.

Options

Optional testing the handle holder of Interdental brush according to ISO 16409  Filament retention is possible. A repetitive test over 80 cycles is possible. The number of cycles can be programmed.
